Community Involvement
Carsten and Edward both have a drive to be involved in the community and to see it flourish and grow. We are always looking for ways to give back in any way that we can. Including supporting local business. Most recently we have been providing maintenance to the 100 mile outdoor skating rink project and have been thrilled to see the number of people using it. With the help of locals and by supporting each
other, we can induce positive change and provide a great place to live for everyone.
Carwen Green Initiatives
Carwen takes a great deal of pride in maintaining our equipment and operating a newer fleet of machines. This not only allows us to offer the best tools for the job, but to also minimize our environmental impact. New equipment has to meet emission standards and are less likely to cause spills or other environmental disasters.
Along with maintaining a clean fleet, Carwen employees always keep environmental concerns at the forefront. In recent years, this involved addressing higher than usual ground water which has resulted in erosion and rising lakes. This ground water presents challenges for septic systems as well and fortunately our trained and certified team understands how to mitigate these problems.
Safety
Although quality and production are always on our minds, nothing comes before safety. The safety of our employees, subtrades we work with and the general public is always taken into consideration for every job. Carwen leadership strives to lead by example and ensure employees are trained and qualified for every task they perform. We are fortunate enough to employ members of young families and that thought is always at the forefront when making both business and safety decisions. Our clients can be assured that we consistently provide high end service in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
